Returning home from a dinner, we passed a rock wall on the Lower Honoapiilani Road in Kahana where all of the flowers were in bloom. They have a lovely fragrance, and the sight was so spectacular that we went home for a camera. Since most of the flowers open after nightfall, and by dawn, are in the process of wilting, I wanted to paint them. If they were seen under water, they might be mistaken for sea anemone.
